Entry Requirements
Lishui University adopts an application-review system for international student admissions, under which a comprehensive evaluation is conducted based on the applicants' academic records and other qualification documents.
A. Basic Requirements
1. Non-Chinese citizen with a valid passport and in good health.
2. Age 18 or above.
3. Non-criminal Record.
4. Have the financial ability to cover the expenses of studying and living in China.
5. Language requirements:
(1) For English-taught programs: Non-native English speakers should provide a TOEFL(≥65) / IELTS (≥5.5 ) / Duolingo (≥100) report, or other proof of English proficiency. Applicants without a test score may submit a self-introductory video in English (over 2 minutes) or participate in an online language test/interview.
(2) For Chinese-taught programs: A valid HSK Level 4 or higher certificate is required.
B. Specific Requirements
(1) Under the age of 25.
(2) A high school certificate or equivalent academic qualification.
(3) Academic Performance: At least 70% of all subjects taken must have a grade of D or higher.
(4) Specific Majors Requirements: Applicants for Nursing must have a grade no lower than C in either Chemistry or Biology. Applicants for Computer Science and Technology must have a grade no lower than C in either Mathematics or Physics.

Special Requirements
The Minimum Number of Students Required: 10The university need to have 10 students before they can open this class. Please be noted for the uncertainty.
Pay Tuition Before Getting Admission Letter: Required, and You Will Need to Pay 9,000 RMBYou will need to pay 9,000 RMB as the tuition fee to the university before you can get the admission letter.

*6. English Language Proficiency Certificate
-IELTS (6.0 or above) or TOEFL iBT (90 or above) is generally preferred.
-If you are unable to provide these test results, you may submit alternative proof, such as a Duolingo English Test score or an official English proficiency certificate issued by your previous school/university, stating that the medium of instruction was English.

A bank deposit certificate of no less than RMB 35,000 and corresponding bank statements from the last six months.
*10. A Self-introduction Video
-Please speak in English or Chinese(English subtitles are recommended).
-The video should be 2-3 minutes long, in MP4 format, and less than 7 MB.
-Include a brief self-introduction, your study plan after enrollment, reasons for applying to this program and university in China, and your plans after graduation.

For applicants who are in China: If you are an employee, you still need to provide employment separation certificate and your current residence permit.
